Joseph Haydn was born in Rohrau, Austria in 1732 and studied as an Austrian composer in the Classical period. He was also known to play the harpsichord, violin, keyboard and sing in the choir. He grew up with an extremely musical family. Joseph Haydn spent most of his career isolated while working for a wealthy family. Many other famous people would have listened to the music created by Joseph Haydn in Hungary.

Special guests of the SherwinJTB Theatre for this debut include; Ludwig Guttenbrunn (artist); Nikolaus Esterhazy (Hungarian prince); Michael Haydn (Austrian composer); Johann Evangelist Haydn (tenor singer); Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (prolific and influential composer); and Ludwig van Beethoven (German composer and pianist).
