Anton Diabelli was born in Mattsee, Austria in 1781 and studied as an Austrian composer in the Classical period and Romantic period. He was also known as a music publisher and editor. Anton Diabelli is best known for arranging popular pieces for amateur players. One of his published arrangements include variations that were mostly by Austrian composers. Many other famous people would have listened to the music created by Anton Diabelli in Austria.

Special guests of the SherwinJTB Theatre for this debut include; Ludwig van Beethoven (German composer and pianist); Michael Haydn (Austrian composer); Franz Schubert (Austrian composer); Carl Czerny (Austrian pianist, composer and teacher); Johann Nepomuk Hummel (Austrian composer and virtuoso pianist); and Ignaz Moscheles (Bohemian composer and piano virtuoso).
